The core foundation is the PLC, or Programmable Logic Control, a device developed to control machine operations. It is responsible for receiving signals and transmitting them to control production processes.

"Thai entrepreneurs, particularly exporters of products in industries that emit significant greenhouse gases, must consider investing in technologies that analyze or reduce greenhouse gas emissions from various production processes, ensuring quality and compliance with established standards. This will preserve trade opportunities and enhance competitiveness."

“And SCADA software GENESIS64™ is another tool that can be used to analyze greenhouse gas emissions from various manufacturing processes within industrial plants. It provides real-time simulations, allowing users to monitor the plant's carbon emissions on an hourly, daily, monthly, and annual basis. This allows for quality production planning and control of carbon emissions within the plant, ensuring they do not exceed established standards or minimize emissions.”

“Normally, different stages of production, such as fuel combustion, electricity use, waste management, and transportation, release different amounts of carbon. The intelligent SCADA software GENESIS64™ Decarbonization solution calculates carbon emissions from various organizational activities, measured in tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent, and divided into three scopes.

SCOPE 1 : Direct Emissions
It is a calculation of the direct carbon footprint from various activities such as combustion of machinery, use of company vehicles, use of wastewater treatment chemicals, etc.

SCOPE 2 : Energy Indirect Emissions
It is a calculation of indirect carbon footprint from energy use, such as purchasing electricity or heat energy for use in the organization.

SCOPE 3 : Indirect Emissions
Calculating other indirect carbon emissions, such as office equipment use or travel to off-site seminars

And SCADA GENESIS64™ will extract data from SCOPE 1 and 2 and analyze it through the Decarbonization Solution. Then it will be sent to “Zeroboard” to collect the data together with SCOPE 3 and then submit it for verification with TGO.
