Throughout 2020, there were numerous results from operations taking place in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) area, or the three EEC provinces. The Human Resources and Education Development Coordination Working Group of the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee (EEC HDC) has therefore considered honoring those who have been instrumental in the comprehensive development of human resources and the EEC area for the first time this year.
The EEC HDC committee has resolved to honor those who are important forces that have contributed to comprehensive development in the EEC area in 2020, dividing the certificate recipients into 3 groups: 1) Organizations, 2) Educational/Training Institutions, and 3) Valuable Personnel. The certificate presentation ceremony was held at Cape Racha Hotel on December 28, 2020, with Dr. Apichart Thongyu, Chairman of the EEC HDC Working Group, presiding over the opening ceremony and presenting certificates to all important forces.
The first group is “Valuable Organizations”.
The selection committee for each group is comprised of seven highly qualified academics from the EEC HDC Working Group. The criteria for selecting organizations include: Organizations that have creative work to advance knowledge and understanding of modern human resource development and education, based on a knowledge base that keeps pace with the changes occurring in the 21st century; organizations that support human resource development activities; those that support collaborative networks between businesses and educational institutions; and those that inspire society and the people around them, addressing the needs of the nation's human resource development.
The valuable organizations that received certificates are as follows:
1) SNC Former Public Company Limited
2) Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
3) Energy Absolute PLC.
4) TKK Corporation Co., Ltd.
5) www.salika.co
Group 2: “Educational/Training Institutions”
EEC HDC selects educational and training institutions with proven track records in enhancing knowledge, skills, and personnel development from institutions that have consistently developed in creating an educational environment in 2020. They have organized a quality-standard learning system for learners/trainees, and have networks of cooperation with many sectors in training and education, resulting in personnel having jobs, high incomes, and being in demand by society. There are 3 institutions:
Institution No. 1 Chonburi Technical College
Office of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education
Institution 2: School of Engineering and Innovation
Rajamangala University of Technology Isan
Institution No. 3 Human Resource Development Institute for Automation and Robotics Technology (MARA), Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labor
Group 3: “Valuable Personnel”
EEC HDC selects individuals based on their knowledge, intelligence, dedication, and dedication to building their organizations into a stable and progressive state. They demonstrate outstanding performance, foster collaboration through social networks, and inspire those around them and the surrounding community. They possess the potential to develop the quality and standards of work in their fields, fostering visible progress at both the individual and national levels.
“We would like to congratulate the organizations, educational/training institutions, and personnel who received valuable certificates from the EEC HDC committee. These certificates are presented to honor their continued contributions to society and the country, particularly their support and participation in personnel and education development in the EEC area, which benefited learners, communities, and Thai society throughout 2020. They are considered to be contributing to sustainable development for Thailand," said Dr. Aphichat Thongyu, Chairman of the EEC HDC Working Group."
