Medical robot wins Prime Minister Award 2021: Innovation For Crisis from Thai corporate collaboration

TKK Corporation Co., Ltd., Thammasat University, and the Innovation Center for Robotics and Automation (iCRAS), Panyapiwat Institute of Management, have jointly developed the ‘Mobile Autonomous Robots for Medical Services’, with the main purpose of alleviating the burden of medical personnel in transporting food, equipment, and medicines, and reducing the risk of Covid-19 infection. This work won the Prime Minister’s Award 2021: Innovation For Crisis, an innovation for solving the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, and was honored by Professor Emeritus Dr. Anek Laothamatas, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), as a representative of the Prime Minister and the Government of Thailand in presenting the award. This is another step in the collaboration between partner organizations to enhance Thailand’s medical industry.
